Content policy
Apprank accepts software and digital products with a public official HTTPS destination. Payment never overrides eligibility or safety review.
Prohibited placements
- Adult content or sexual services; malware, credential theft, piracy, or deceptive and illegal products.
- Chat or invite links; gambling; crypto, token, trading, lending, or investment offers.
- Physical goods, human services, affiliate or referral destinations, URL shorteners, or destinations that hide the official product identity.
Destination requirements
- Use the product’s official public HTTPS website. App Store, Play Store, GitHub, and similar shared platforms retain the identifying path.
- Credentials, fragments, query and tracking parameters, default ports, and unsafe redirects are removed or rejected during canonicalization.
- Existing listing metadata and destination remain locked when a later sponsor enters the same canonical URL.
Checks and moderation
- Destinations receive automated reputation, DNS, redirect, response-size, content-type, and metadata checks before checkout.
- Automated checks do not guarantee safety. Apprank may hide a listing when later review finds a policy, legal, or security issue.
- Send a takedown or safety report with the destination and a concise explanation to support. Reviews and any refund are deliberate actions.
