Terms
These launch terms describe Apprank’s sponsored placement service for software and digital products. They are a review draft and may change before checkout opens.
Sponsored placement
- Payment purchases an additive sponsored placement total, not an editorial recommendation, account, ownership interest, or guaranteed period at a particular rank.
- Rank may change immediately when another product contributes more or when a refund, dispute, or moderation action changes eligible totals.
- Existing listing identity and destination cannot be replaced by a later sponsor.
Checkout
- A hosted payment processor handles checkout when payment, safety, and abuse-protection services are available.
- A placement publishes only after server-side verification of reference, whole-dollar amount, currency, and captured status.
- Checkout may remain paused without notice while required services or launch approvals are unavailable.
Refunds and rank changes
- Losing rank is an expected part of the board and is not, by itself, a reason for a refund.
- A refund or takedown is a deliberate support action after review; it is not automatic merely because rank changes.
- Refunded, reversed, and disputed amounts recalculate the public placement total.
Content and availability
- Sponsors must submit eligible official product destinations and comply with the Content policy.
- Apprank may hide a listing for safety, policy, legal, payment, or operational review.
- The service and its metrics may be unavailable, delayed, or corrected when source systems fail.
